On 30 October 2007, iSOFT became part of IBA Health Group Limited, a healthcare IT company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), creating one of the world’s largest healthcare IT companies with offices in 18 countries. This has opened the way for the enlarged group to move into new markets and to offer a wider range of products and services to a greater number of customers, while at the same time continuing to deliver world-class products, services and support to customers at local level.

IBA Health Group Limited has since changed its name to iSOFT Group Limited (ASX: ISF) to build on the goodwill associated with one of the world’s leading health IT brands, iSOFT.

iSOFT is the leading provider in the UK and Ireland, where its current market share is more than 40%, following the award of contracts under the NPfIT national programme now underway in England. iSOFT now also has a greatly expanded market presence in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and China, Africa and the Middle East.

Current annual revenues for the group are in excess of A$500m.

Out of a total workforce of more than 4,700, over half are engaged in software design, development and solution delivery. We continue to focus on developing and improving innovative applications, and have about 2,700 specialists engaged in development work and solution design at two centres of excellence in Chennai and Bangalore in India. We are continuing to build a first-class international team of specialists.
